Updated Demo Out Now!


It's been over a year since I first uploaded the prototype for this. Since then I had moved onto another project which is still in the works, but inspired by the recent success of other repo-ing games, I figured I'd take another crack at this.

A lot of the changes are under the hood on the dev side, mostly with how I was handling item creation, map editing, etc. Some other tweaks were to the character controller, UI changes, and a bit of juice. Honestly I don't know that I remember everything I changed, I'm bad at logging changes for myself, but I'll try my best to list them down below. Also if you do run into any issues, please let me know by filing a bug report.

Fixes:
- mouse movement should now be smooth regardless of fps or v-sync.
- quests will now finish properly when you have reached the required goal amount which was solved by rewriting chunks of the quest system

Changes:
+ new visual look, got rid of the pixel filter that I only had to hide my bad textures
+ quest system overhaul, quests are now picked up from the computer at HQ
+ quests are now graded based on completion of target goal and secondary objectives, future updates will take advantage of this more
+ inventory system overhaul, like items now stack
+ UI visual overhaul
+ changes to player speed and carry capacity to emphasize managing items you pick up
